STORY: Women are always embarrassed to ask for money.
When do you think is the best time to ask a guy for money? Well, read on and find out.
Relationships, especially long term relationships are a give and take game. You may think you don’t need his help but trust me, if your relationship is meant to be, he will want to help you because he loves you. He wouldn’t mind helping out with something that makes him proud.
There’s a common misconception that men are like ATM machines. Even though they have the capacity to solve their partner’s problems, women often feel embarrassed asking them for assistance and would rather find help elsewhere or go through challenges alone instead of turning to their man.
As women, we’re taught to be self-reliant and independent. We should figure it out on our own, handle things ourselves without a man’s help. It makes us seem weak if we need something from another person; especially when that other is of the opposite sex (and therefore may have romantic intentions). This can lead women with an “I’m going to take care of myself” mindset into tough situations they could easily avoid by asking their significant others for assistance — whether in financial or emotional matters
Most women are always embarrassed to ask their man for money or anything they might need because being seen as too reliant would make them feel like failures – even though men are usually more capable than most woman know! Women don’t want this embarrassment.
Elaine lay on her bed, staring at the ceiling. It was 3am and she had been in a dark mood for hours now. She reached for her phone to distract herself from the thoughts of rejection and loneliness that were plaguing her mind, but found it uncharged. She didn’t want to bother anyone by asking them to come over- no one would be awake except Lance anyway- so she turned on some music instead. After listening closely until it became too much, Elaine flipped through Netflix’s selection for something else to watch before finally deciding on The Notebook and trying not to cry while watching Ryan Gosling fall in love with Rachel McAdams all over again…
She had seen the email notification about her tuition fee and she was utterly distraught by it. She needed $1000 for her final year of college, and she couldn’t think of any way to get that money on time. Her parents were traders in New York, so they wouldn’t have been able to help her out with this one.
As she paced back and forth in front of the kitchen counter, trying to figure out what to do now-she saw a flyer for a job at their school’s library. It said that they needed someone new to work as a volunteer assistant, who would be responsible for shelving books from the shelves into alphabetical order and tidying up around the bookshelves when necessary too!

“Hi, is it possible for me to talk to your manager about the internship?” She asked with a hint of desperation in her voice. “I’m asking because I have found an advert that pays higher than what you’re giving me.” “Talking to my manager won’t do anything, we can only offer this much,” The young woman who answered the phone said without hesitation. ‘Maybe I should be more direct,’ she thought as she dialed another number on her phone and waited patiently for someone to pick up.
Elaine walked to her phone and opened the messages app. She had a wide range of emotions on her face–confusion, anger, disbelief but most importantly, fear. This was not how she wanted things to go down. She scratched at the back of her head and closed out of the text message thread with him after reading it for what felt like 100 times. The butterflies in her stomach were raging a war against each other and she couldn’t take it anymore; he had made his choice when he didn’t reply two days ago.
She put on some music then drowned herself into all those thoughts running through her mind as she punched away at the voiceless keys just waiting for that one last ring before deciding to call him again.
Elaine was sitting on her bed, when she heard a knock on the door. She had been waiting for her boyfriend to call back since two days ago when he stopped responding to her text message. The only thing she could do now was hope that it wasn’t him standing outside with someone else and just want his advice. When Elaine opened the door, there stood Blake, both hands shoved deep into his pockets looking down at his shoes while shifting from one foot to another nervously. “Hey,” he muttered before stepping in front of Elaine and gathering her in a hug as if nothing had happened between them for months instead of two days.”
TO BE CONTINUED…..your comment is highly appreciated.
