SIMPLE TEMPERAMENT CODING

Read Time:5 Minute, 7 Second
We often ask this question; Why people act the way they do?
Each of us is different from the others and every person is unique in his or her own way. That thing that differentiates us from one another is called temperament. Our temperament influences everything that we do; our sleeping habits, eating habits and styles, from study habits goes a long way to how we get along with people. Personally, in my views; there is no other known influence in our lives that is more powerful than our temperaments or combination of temperaments in our lives.
The essence of mentioning these traits is to know who we really are and what we want to make out of our lives.
What is Temperament? Temperament is defined to be the traits of human instincts we inherited from our parents. No one actually knows where it resides, but it is ever-present in the mind or in the heart. These traits are arranged genetically on the basis of sex, nationality, race and other hereditary factors and they influence our characters to a large extent. Our temperaments become more pronounced as we grow older, however their discovery will enable us to overcome the problems they pose and cause as we begin to take hold of ourselves and learn to change and control the things about us. There are four known temperaments; Sanguine, Choleric, Melancholy and Phlegmatic.
But, we must know more about the human character!
Character:
What is character?
Character is that which connotes the involuntary actions of man. It is the result of our natural temperaments modified from childhood training and experience, formal education, basic attitudes and belief system, principles, motivations, values and true life experiences. We often refer to these expressions as the actions of the soul of man, which are made up of the mind, the will and the emotions. This is only known as the outward expression of one\’s personality which sometimes can be fake and deceptive realities about us.
It is evidently clear that someone can manifest more than one type of temperament thereby exhibiting a combination of two or more temperaments. The temperaments when blended are very ideal in knowing and controlling your actions and in grooming your child to be fulfilled in their lives. Temperament could make or mar our spiritual and emotional life, hence it is proper to know the weakness associated with our personal or collective lives with a view to finding ways to improve. We as humans have the will to change our nature for the better as the ability to become who we are meant to be, all that is needed to do is to have a combination of positive trait and characteristics that influence people around us positively as the case may be.
No one is truly a successful person, if people around them are in a \’mess\’. Therefore, in order to live a successful life we should attempt to live a life that will influence the lives of the people around us positively.
Everybody seems to be enamored with social media and what it offers – connections.
It is this same offering of connections that I feel will interest you into knowing more about yourself and the people that you meet in social media sites.
I recently took an online quiz about the four temperaments – choleric, sanguine, melancholic, and phlegmatic – as I was just curious to know what my temperaments are. I’ve been intrigued by a teacher friend of mine who uses this gauge to identify what kind of students he has and how he could make his classes more exciting as well as how he could find the best methods in disciplining a child in accordance with his temperaments! And he has around 30 students!
In my musings, I realized that we could more or less identify the people we are connecting with, either through social media sites or face-to-face, through their exhibitions of the different personality traits according to temperament.
